Meet Andy Appleton, our new Commercial Manager

We’re delighted to announce that Andy Appleton has joined the SA Safety senior management team as Commerical Manager.  Andy has over 20 years of experience in senior sales, business development and commercial positions and will be accountable for delivering the next stage of our growth strategy.

Driving growth and engagement

Andy joins SA Safety as our Commercial Manager to focus on developing our product and services proposition, and on driving our growth within the high-risk utilities and industrial sectors.  His role will include attracting new customers and increasing engagement with our existing customer base.  Andy will also focus on building long-term sustainable relationships with business partners in the health and safety, insurance, and environmental markets.

A growing independent business

When Mark approached me to consider joining SA Safety it was obvious to me that this was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down.  In the last 18 months he has grown the business significantly to become the leading training and services provider to the utility and industrial sector in the South West.

This has been achieved by working with a selective customer base, creating training programmes which are built in partnership with our customers, and by utilising experienced, highly qualified and loyal subject matter experts.

Being a totally independent business allows us to be flexible, agile and responsive to emergency situations.  I am really looking forward to driving the next phrase of our growth strategy, engaging with our customers, and discussing the needs of new businesses across the UK.
