Everything Ellie
SA Safety is proud to be a values-based organisation, applying a strong policy of corporate social responsibility both within our organisation and in our wider community. For us, an important part of this is our decision to support two charities, both chosen as they are close to the hearts of the SA Safety team. Our strong representation of ex-forces on the SA Safety team led us to support The Royal Marines Charity. We’re also proud to support a local charity called Everything Ellie.
What the charity does
Everything Ellie is a small charity based in North Devon. They provide practical help and short-term respite to young people with life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses. The charity supports families affected by the impact of terminal illness with grants to help with the additional costs associated with having a child receiving cancer treatment. They also maintain a caravan and a beach hut, both on the glorious North Devon coast, for respite breaks and holidays. We’re delighted to play a small part in helping this charity to make a difference to the lives of children and families dealing with difficult and heart-breaking life events.
Our corporate social responsibility
As a values-based organisation, charitable giving is a vital part of our policy of corporate social responsibility. Just as we aim to deliver and support growth with passion and professionalism in our corporate world, we also want to help local good causes grow and prosper. As we create a future for our business, those who work for us and those around us, we also want to take responsibility for ensuring that where we can influence for good, we do.
Our hope is that everyone involved with the growth of our business and wherever we have influence in the wider community has the chance of a better quality of life, whether through new skills, investment and opportunity or through the chance to take much-needed family time by the sea as a break from the toughest of times.
