Meet Dave Tucker – our new Operations Director

To support our continued growth, we’re delighted to announce a new staff appointment. Dave Tucker has joined us as Operations Director, and takes a seat on the SA Safety board.

Since joining the company in January 2019, Dave has grown to be an integral part of the SA Safety team. His role includes responsibility for delivering confined space training and emergency scheme training for our key customers, thus ensuring their staff are competent to deal with emergency situations arising in their workplace.

We’re delighted that this new appointment means that Dave will continue to play a key role in our mission to deliver a safer working environment to the high-risk utilities, industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Bringing valuable experience to our team

Dave brings a wealth of experience and expertise to SA Safety and we’re delighted to be able to utilise this for the benefit of our customers. After almost 12 years in the Royal Marines, Dave joined the fire service in 2004. He gained valuable experience as a firefighter, including 17 years working on a specialist rescue fire station. He also provided maritime fire-fighting training for both internal staff and to the commercial sector. Our customers can now benefit from Dave’s extensive skill and training.

“I am thrilled that Dave has agreed to commit his future to SA Safety. With his knowledge and skillset, he will provide our business with commercial resilience, and support the training and services needs of our growing customer base”

Mark Shaddick, Managing Director

Dave Tucker took up his new role as Operations Director with SA Safety Ltd at the start of January 2022.
