About The Course
This is a one-day course suitable for people who may have to work in confined spaces, in particular those working in the water, utilities, industrial and construction sectors.
A confined space is defined as a space with limited entry and egress, unsuitable for human inhabitants, for example the interior of a storage tank, which is occasionally entered by maintenance workers but can be hazardous to humans .Hazards can include harmful dust or gases, asphyxiation, submersion in liquids or free-flowing granular solids (eg grain bins), electrocution, or entrapment. The course is designed for anyone who may have to enter a confined space in the course of their work.

Course Certification
The course is assessed by continuous practical assessment and a written multiple-choice test. Upon successful completion of the course learners will receive a Certificate of Attendance from SA Safety.
Certificate valid for three years.
