Location: Plympton, Devon
Duration: March 2026 – October 2026

About the role

SA Safety is recruiting dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Access Control Guardians and Fire Sentries. 

You’ll be providing essential safety support for confined space operations during a major outage project at Langage Power Station.

As an Outage Support Team member you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of all personnel entering and exiting confined spaces, and during hot works activity, helping maintain a secure and well-controlled working environment.

What we're looking for

  • Safety-conscious individuals with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain alert and professional throughout shifts.
  • Previous experience in safety support or industrial environment is an advantage.
  • Minimum City&Guilds 6060-09 medium risk confined space (Full training can be provided).

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain entry control and log records for confined space access.
  • Monitor communication and safety protocols for all confined space and hot work activities.
  • Support safety teams and supervisors with permit-to-work procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety standards and company policies.
