Level 3
Qualsafe Award in First Response Emergency Care

The FREC3 Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care qualification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide prehospital care to patients requiring emergency care/treatment.

This 5 day course is a nationally recognised prehospital care qualification.  It covers the full range of skills required by the HSE for first aid.  FREC3  is the entry-level stage of the First Response Emergency Care pathway.  FREC3 is ideal for those looking to progress their careers within the emergency services, ambulance services and healthcare settings.  It also supports specialist medical roles within law enforcement and security, energy and utilities, construction and military.  Find out more about the course here.
