About The Course

Our 2-week Fire Team Recruit training course is designed for industrial sites that have their own First Response Emergency or Incident Response Fire Teams.
This specialist training course uses a combination of practical real-life situations on the site where the team will be operating and a comprehensive fire behaviour module to equip your fire fighters for real fire situations.
Your fire team recruits will learn the core skills and competence to assess, make decisions and control an industrial fire situation. Learner numbers are ideally 8-12, but please contact us to discuss your training requirements. The course is largely practical, and finishes with a final team exercise and assessment.
The Fire Team Recruit course will mainly take place on-site, dependent on your facilities, and is planned to cause as little disruption and time away from your site as possible. The fire behaviour module will take place off-site to enable the recruits to gain real fire experience at a specialist live fire facility.

Course Certification
Successful candidates will receive a Certificate of Completion.
This training is valid for up to 2 years, after which a refresher course will be required to maintain core skills.
