- Qualsafe Award in First Response Emergency Care
Fully updated in June 2025, The Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care FREC3 qualification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide prehospital care to patients requiring emergency care/treatment.
This 5 day course is a nationally recognised prehospital care qualification. It covers the full range of skills required by the HSE for first aid. FREC3 is the entry-level stage of the First Response Emergency Care pathway.
