This two-week training course for Fire Team recruits is designed for industrial sites that have their own First Response Emergency or Incident Response Fire Teams. Do you need our refresher course?

Our  training course will provide your Fire Team recruits with the core skills and competence to assess, make decisions and control an industrial fire situation. Learner numbers are ideally 8-12, but please contact us to discuss your training requirements. The course is largely practical, and finishes with a final team exercise and assessment.

We always aim to undertake most of the course on-site, dependent on your facilities, so that we cause as little disruption and time away from your site as possible. However, the fire behaviour part of the programme will take place at a specialist live fire facility.

Our Fire Team Recruit training course uses a combination of practical real-life situations on the site where the team will be operating, and a comprehensive Fire Behaviour module offsite at a specialist Fire Training facility, where real fire experience will equip your fire fighters to deal with real fire situations. Fire Team Refresher

fire team training refresher

Your Fire Team members have done a training course, but when was the last time their knowledge was tested in a live situation?  Have you noticed bad habits developing in the exercises you run as part of team development?

To keep your team prepared for a real fire situation we recommend that members refresh their core skills, with both onsite and fire behaviour training, at least every two years. During a refresher course our experienced instructors will identify and assess any training requirements needed, and focus the course content accordingly. The duration of this bespoke course will range between 2-5 days, dependent on your requirements.

As a valued customer we are also able to attend your regular Fire Team development days to advise, facilitate and assess any exercises. This will enable us to identify and discuss with you any additional training requirements you may have.
